Import from QGIS 4

I use QGIS icw Locus Gis, which works quite well (okay, except for styles, which requires some pollising after import/export). My Linux distro however now includes QGIS4 instead of 3, and Locus Gis is not supporting imports from QGIS4, and QGIS4 is not supporting exports to QGIS3. Is there by any chance an version update to V4 planned/possible for the import? Or some workaround?
