How to create shp-file

Hello, it´s not a question, it´s a smal tutorial ;-))

how to create shp-files from your own POI´s or Track exported as xxx.gpx from locus.

1. export POI/Track without formated discription as xxx.gpx, if you export tracks be sure there is no additional POI like photo/attachement in this track!

2. download freeware

http://www.gdv.com/gdv/produkte-downloads/gdv-freeware/spatial-commander.html

name and mailadress is required.

3. after installation go to Menue/settings/projection

and check projection settings e.g. "4326 WGS 84"

4.go to Plugins/add GPX file, navigate to your xxx.gpx and set outputfolder in point-string or track-string and confirm.

5. Ready ;-)) You get 3 files, but only your xxx.shp is needed for use with "Locus GIS"
